Looking for something special to do over the August Bank Holiday? Why not visit Wings and Wheels at Dunsfold Park in Surrey (where they film the programme “Top Gear”) on 28th and 29th August 2011 for a combination of motoring exhibitions and stunning flying displays. There you will find a real mix of motoring demonstrations, arena displays, static exhibitions and a motoring paddock. The motoring displays include Aston Martins, Ferraris, Porsches, TVRs and the Mercedes Silver Arrows Team all thrilling the crowd on the runway. Demonstrations organised by The Brooklands Museum embody “The Spirit of Brooklands” with powerful, fast pre 1939 vehicles and also modern supercars and bikes. The aircraft show lasts for an amazing 5 hours each day and features both civilian and military aircraft. Apart from the crowd thrilling RAF Red Arrows and the RAF Hawk display team, there are also the Breitling Wing Walkers to wow the visitors. For those of us who appreciate a little nostalgia, the wonderful Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfire, Hurricane and Avro Lancaster will all be there to recreate some memories. There is also a fairground, retail village, simulators and a chance to meet the pilots – something surely for all the family!
